This FREE preschool printable worksheet set is perfect for younger kiddos who want to start practicing handwriting but don’t have the fine motor skills yet to hold a pen properly. Plus they’re great for learning numbers and shapes and practicing counting and one-to-one correspondence!
These Number & Shape Tracing Sheets should be printed on cardstock and laminated first before use so they don’t get dirty and will last for ages! Once they’re laminated, we play a variety of pre-handwriting games with them to start practicing those same skills and build up all the little muscles in the hand. Cheerio tracing is one of my son’s favorites (we tend to snack as we go!), but we also do salt tracing, and on super messy sensory play days… shaving cream tracing!
I also have an ABC Letter Tracing Sheet Set that’s free to download!
